The Express Standard
You pay for the space you fill. Not the hour.
Pricing is by volume, the room your stuff takes in the truck. One Express truck holds about six pickup loads (10ft by 8ft by 5ft). You pay for the fraction you fill, and a crew member gives you that firm number on-site before anything moves.
Free on-site estimate. You approve the price before we load a thing.
How It Works
How Our Pricing Works
Three steps, no clock running, and no number until someone has actually seen the load.
You book a window
Call or book online and we confirm a two hour arrival window. Same-day is often available.
The crew quotes on-site
They look at what is actually there, measure it against the truck, and give you one firm number that covers labor, loading, and disposal.
You approve, then we load
Nothing moves until you say yes. If the number does not work for you, the crew leaves and you owe nothing.
By Load Size
What a Load Actually Looks Like
One truck holds about six pickup loads. You pay for the fraction you fill, and these are the four points we quote against.
Minimum Load
About 1 pickup load
Quarter Truck
About 2 pickup loads
Half Truck
About 3 pickup loads
Full Truck
About 6 pickup loads
Not sure which one you are? That is normal. Most people guess low. The on-site quote settles it in about two minutes.
The Variables
What Moves the Price
These are the things a crew member weighs when they quote your job.
Volume
The space your load takes up in the truck. This is the main driver, and it is why we quote on-site instead of over the phone.
Access
A curbside pile and a third-floor walk-up are different jobs. The crew accounts for stairs, distance, and tight doorways when they look at the load.
Weight & material
Concrete, dirt, and roofing weigh far more per cubic foot than furniture, and disposal is priced by the ton for those.
Teardown
A hot tub, shed, or playset that has to be dismantled before it can be loaded takes crew time that a stack of boxes does not.
The Express Standard
The number you approve is the number you pay. No hourly clock, no dump fees, no fuel surcharge, no surprise add-ons.
Every on-site quote is guaranteed by Robert Connor, owner.
Questions
Pricing Questions, Answered
Why not list prices on the website?
Because a number given sight-unseen is a number that changes later. Volume, access, and weight all move the price, and none of them can be judged from a form. A crew member looks at the load in person and gives you a firm number before anything moves.
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. The crew comes out, looks at the job, and quotes it. If you do not like the number, they leave and you owe nothing. There is no trip charge and no estimate fee.
Can the price go up once you start?
No. The number you approve is the number you pay. If you add items after the quote, the crew will re-quote before loading them so you are never surprised at the end.
Do you charge by the hour?
No. Pricing is by volume, not time. A fast crew does not cost you more, and a difficult job does not turn into an open-ended clock.
What about dump fees and fuel?
Included in the number you approve. Disposal and fuel are part of the quote, not line items added afterward.
